Give Back to Our Community
Your generous donation to the Krewe of Chemin Neuf directly benefits the Pointe Coupee Health Services Foundation, with a special focus on diabetes wellness. By contributing, you are helping us fund vital programs aimed at diabetes education, prevention, and cost reduction, making a significant impact on the health and well-being of residents in New Roads and Pointe Coupee.
In addition to health initiatives, your support also fuels local economic growth. The Krewe of Chemin Neuf brings an economic boost to our cities through increased sales tax and hotel tax revenues, generated by the nearly 400 room nights available in Pointe Coupee during our Mardi Gras festivities. These funds help sustain our vibrant community and ensure that our traditions continue to thrive.
Moreover, our parade proudly involves the farming community, showcasing the rich agricultural heritage of Pointe Coupee. By donating, you’re also supporting local farmers and helping to strengthen the bonds within our community.
